27 years of experience running summer academic programs for high school students gives ASA unparalleled insight into creating the perfect summer. Our team of experienced educators and directors constantly improve program design, resources and curricula to provide the optimum experience for our students.

We Care

Every aspect of our program design emphasizes our concern for the personal and intellectual growth and well being of our students: RA’s whose primary responsibility is to care, supervise and program for their students; small classes that allow close interactions and continuous feedback between students and faculty; and a senior staff team experienced in working with students in a residential community.

Real Classes, Real Teachers

Small classes and challenging curricula taught by a superb faculty teach students the skills of critical reading, reasoning and analytical writing. They mimic college seminars in their subject matter, stressing interactive collaboration between students and faculty. ASA faculty, all of whom have teaching experience, are never asked to assume residence life tasks, and residence staff are never asked to teach.

Fabulous Friends

ASA students acome from all over th e world and they bring with them diverse interest and experiences. Most students come on their own, but quickly meet new friends and create a close knit community where fun and excitement reign.

Work Hard, Play Hard

Once classes are over, you’ll find an amazing variety of afternoon and evening activities, innovative workshops, trips, and weekend excursions. Over and over our students tell us, “It was the best summer I’ve ever had.”

A Taste of College

ASA's goal is to prepare students for that important transition from high school to college. Learning how to balance academic and social commitments, living with a roommate, and being part of a collegiate environment are all vital skills to make your college career successful.

Safety, Security & Supervision

The safety, security and well being of our students is ASA’s top priority. Experienced directors, a residential staff hired at a ratio of 1 to 10, excellent campus security, and access to outstanding medical facilities allow us to keep a careful eye on all our students.
