The Princeton Review
College Visits

The best way to evaluate a college and decide whether it's right for you is to visit in person. At CAP, we will take advantage of our host site and several nearby colleges and universities in order to help you better understand how to maximize the impact of each of your college visits. We will teach you to see beyond admissions marketing materials. You'll learn how to ask questions so that you will get meaningful answers and how to recognize an answer that might need more clarification. Most visits will include both a guided tour and a formal admissions presentation.

College visits during each ASA CAP program will introduce you to several different types of institutions in order to begin to get a feel for a place or an environment that feels "right". Then, after the program you'll know how to follow up with your list of desired colleges and universities after the CAP program and plan a visit while classes are in session.

Past college visits include:

Columbia University

Princeton University, Yale University, Villanova University, Manhattan College, New York University and Columbia University

Tufts University

Harvard University, Boston University, Emerson College, Northeastern University and Tufts University

UC Berkeley

Stanford University, UC Santa Cruz, University of San Francisco, San Francisco State University and UC Berkeley
