ASA in Barcelona is a residential Spanish language program designed for students completing grades 10-12. The program offers students a unique opportunity to live, study and explore in one of Europe’s most magical and sophisticated cities. Experience Spanish language and culture first hand, take language courses and cultural seminars taught by a talented team of university professors and enjoy a wide range of activities and excursions. Students and staff live in a state-of-the-art residence in the elegant Sarrià district.
Barcelona is a city with immense history whose past enriches its vibrant modern cultural life and reputation for being cosmopolitan and cutting edge whether it be art, architecture, fashion or cuisine. The city lays claim to many important museums and galleries and inspired Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró and Pablo Picasso. As a student you will improve your language skills and gain an intimate knowledge of Barcelona’s history, culture, people and customs.
