Cal Berkeley stands as the nation's premier public research university, attracting 31,000 students from 101 nations. It boasts a faculty that includes six Nobel Prize winners, three Pulitzer Prize winners and more top ten graduate programs than any other university in the US. Additionally, the campus, with an extraordinary blend of natural beauty and urban excitement, makes Berkeley a fantastic setting for a summer program.
The ASA College Admissions Program (CAP) at UC Berkeley is a short, intensive preparation for the college admissions process. Course content includes college counseling, instructive college admissions workshops, SAT preparation with the Princeton Review and excellent essay writing classes. Although each day will be quite busy with courses and coursework, during down time opportunities to experience life on a college campus in a unique college town will be plentiful. College visits also add an important dimension to the program, making your college application planning even more real.
