Although you'll spend much of your time in Nice studying, exploring the city, and touring the Riviera, the most constant center of activity is the Lyc??e Mass??na campus, located in the heart of Nice's old town. All language and culture courses are held on campus, and meals are served in the Lyc??e's beautiful on-site cafeteria. Every student will have a private room with a shower, furnished with a bed, a desk and storage for his or her belongings and supervised by Resident Advisors (RAs) - university students who live on each floor with students. Your RAs are there not only to ensure your health and safety, but also to act as advisors and friends, helping you to adjust to a new culture and new situations and to get the most out of your ASA experience in France.

The city of Nice, situated in the center of France's fabulous Mediterranean coastline - the C??te d'Azur - is the site of ASA's four-week residential French language and culture program. Nice, famous the world over as a cosmopolitan center of art, culture, and exclusive summer resorts, is the perfect setting for this unique learning experience, designed specifically for students interested in developing a deeper knowledge of France, its language and its culture. The program stresses active learning, individualized instruction in small classes, and cultural enrichment. During your month studying in Nice, you'll discover many unique opportunities to combine classroom study of the French language and its culture with experiences of day-to-day life in France. Those who continue on to Paris will enjoy four days of touring France's famed capital. It's a challenging program that encourages exploration, develops independence, and provides a foundation for academic success and personal discovery.
