ASA in Nerja Activities

As part of the program fee, Spanish in España offers students the chance to participate in specialized activities that will take place in each town. These activities are generally held once or twice a week and students may select up to two activities throughout the month.

Flamenco, Introduction to Scuba Diving, Pottery and Ceramic Classes will be offered in Nerja. There will be space to indicate your preferences on the homestay questionnaire. Please remember that we can only accommodate a limited number of students in some activities so be sure to submit your application as soon as possible after you receive it.

Apart from the scheduled activities, there will be other extracurricular activities such as tennis tournaments, and beach volleyball that take place in all locations.

ASA in Nerja Trips

Excursions to local places of interest will take place on Wednesdays and some Saturdays. There will be an overnight excursions to Granada. These trips will give you the opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful places in Andalusia.

Granada

We'll spend the night at a resort in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The following day we hike, bike and explore this magnificent Moorish city: La Alhambra, El Generalife, the Royal Chapel and the Albayzin.

Malaga

A day trip to visitr the Picasso Museum, Catheral and old town.

Marbella

A visit to the glitzy capital of the Costa del Sol.

Get ready to:
  • reside in an intimate yet cosmopolitan town with an exciting nightlife
  • participate in Flamenco, scuba diving, pottery and ceramic classes
  • take an overnight excursion to Granada, and visit the most beautiful places in Andalusia
  • enjoy extracurricular activities such as basketball, tennis, and beach volleyball
  • learn the language from native Spanish-speaking instructors and new local friends
