When classes finish, it's time to play. ASA staff organizes exiting and active extracurricular options every day of the week.

Get in the Game: basketball, soccer, ultimate Frisbee and football
Compete: laser tag, paintball, game shows, floor wars and battle of the sexes
Work Out: yoga, running, indoor cardio, hiking, swimming, free weights and aerobics
Create: cooking, jewelry making, tie-dye, henna tattoos, pottery, scrapbooking
Tennis Lessons: master your forehand with one on one lessons from a UMass coach
Prepare for College: College Fair, panel discussions and essay writing workshops
The Main Event: karaoke, weekly dances, Rock-n-Bowl, casino night, movies at the 16-screen multiplex and more!

Newport, RI
Visit the "sailing capital of the world," and while you're there, enjoy the International Tennis Hall of Fame, beautiful 19th century mansions, and some time on the beach.

Beach Trip
We'll spend a day at beautiful Misquamicut beach (RI), soaking up the sun and enjoying the water.

Northampton
Just 15 minutes from Amherst, this town is a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon. Shop, eat, paint your own pottery or challenge friends to a bowling competition. It's all easy summer fun.

Boston Red Sox Game
Don't miss this opportunity enjoy a game with the champs at one of the oldest and most well known stadiums in the United States.

Basketball Hall of Fame
Explore and learn more about your favorite players.

Something Extra

Rafting
Raft the Deerfield River with Zoar Outdoor. The trip is led by certified, professional instructors and is ideal for the beginner rafter. Fee: $125
