The ASA program at UMass is designed to provide students with an engaging and exciting academic experience, a rich social experience and the wonderful camaraderie of a summer program with a student body that is diverse in both their interests and their cultures. ASA classes are focused and interesting, adding hands-on, active opportunities wherever possible. They're also of great quality, taught by experienced professors. After all, if you're going to take a class this summer, why not make it a meaningful one? In addition to coursework, the ASA UMass program offers fantastic opportunities to form friendships with interesting new people. The staff are engaged and involved and play a pivotal role in helping students adjust and enjoy their ASA experience. Take college-style seminars in a range of subjects taught by inspirational professors but save time to experience the fun on offer in a wide range of activities, program events and weekend travel.
