There's no "typical" day at ASA. You will have the freedom of a college student, doing what you want to do with your time, choosing from a variety of activities that change from day to day. Here's a sample schedule:

Your Summer Home
Your home at UMass will be the fantastic, new North Apartments.
Housing: Centrally located, within easy walking distance to all of the facilities that you'll need on campus, North Apartments are also state of the art, fully air-conditioned, suite style apartments. Every suite has four single bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a shared living room and kitchen. Bedrooms have Ethernet connectivity and kitchens have full refrigerators and microwaves.
Facilities: Laundry facilities, vending machines, meeting rooms and lounge space are all in the dorm and grassy areas just outside are perfect for relaxing. The Body Shop Gym is right across the street!
Security: North Apartments has 24 hour security, with electronic key card access required for entry and a staffed reception area immediately inside the dorm.
Dining: A short walk from North Apartments is the Campus Center where your meal card will give you access to the Blue Wall Cafe, the Pita Pit and Smoothie Central. The Campus Center is also home to the bookstore, game rooms, cash machine services and TV lounges. Classes are also easy walking distance from North, making it easy to get to class after grabbing a coffee or quick breakfast.
Our Students
Our students come from all over the US and over 30 different countries. Most come independently and are eager to meet new people. Our students work hard and play hard, balancing their academics with fun-filled activities and excursions. At ASA UMass, students have their own room and suites will be filled with students according to interests, age and gender. Our students tend to be academically motivated and definitely want to have fun and be social. Their interests are diverse and together with our dedicated staff team assembled they create a phenomenal community of talented, fun individuals.
